Acceptable Use Policy — AI-Generated Content

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Welcome to qrcodemaker. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") defines the content standards, moderation mechanisms, reporting procedures and enforcement measures that apply to all content generated, published, distributed or stored through our services. By accessing or using qrcodemaker, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use our services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all content forms supported by the platform:

  • Text: prompts, descriptions and instructions you submit
  • Images: AI-generated or AI-edited artwork, including AI art QR codes
  • QR codes: generated codes and the destination content they link to
  • User input (prompts): any prompt or instruction submitted to the generation interface or API

2. Content Standards & Prohibited Categories

qrcodemaker explicitly prohibits using the service to generate the following six categories of content:

  1. Pornographic / NSFW content — sexually explicit material, sexual services, or gratuitous sexual content
  2. Violence / gore — graphic violence, torture, mutilation, or shocking and disturbing imagery
  3. Hate speech — content attacking or demeaning people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation
  4. Child safety violations (CSAM) — any content that sexualizes, endangers or exploits minors
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation — AI-generated media impersonating real individuals without consent
  6. Copyright / trademark infringement — content reproducing protected works, brands or trademarks without authorization

2.1 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following content is removed immediately upon discovery, and we reserve the right to report it to the competent authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized content involving minors, including uploading photos of children or teenagers under 18 to generate QR codes or AI art
  • Content promoting or assisting terrorism, violent extremism, or large-scale violence
  • Technical guidance for manufacturing weapons of mass destruction
  • Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred
  • Non-consensual sexualized deepfakes of real individuals
  • Creating QR codes or AI art that links to or promotes any of the above anywhere

Any account found violating this provision is terminated immediately and permanently, we preserve evidence, and we report it to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC and law enforcement, as required by law.

2.2 General Prohibited Conduct

In addition, you may not use our service to:

  • Generate or spread disinformation, rumors, or fake or misleading QR codes intended to deceive users
  • Impersonate real individuals, brands, or organizations
  • Create QR codes that link to malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or use the service for phishing, scams, or other fraudulent activities
  • Present AI-generated content as human-created work in order to deceive users
  • Bulk send spam or unsolicited commercial information, or mass-generate junk or fraudulent content
  • Submit jailbreak prompts designed to bypass our safety filters or the underlying model's safeguards
  • Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights
  • Collect, store, or process sensitive personal information through QR codes without valid consent and compliance with applicable data protection laws (including ID numbers, bank accounts, and medical records)
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or user data; use automated systems (bots, crawlers) without explicit permission; reverse engineer our source code; or interfere with the normal operation of the service, including DDoS attacks
  • Resell, white-label, or commercially distribute free accounts — large-scale commercial use requires a Pro or Enterprise plan

3. Content Moderation

qrcodemaker operates a multi-layer moderation system combining automated screening, human review, and periodic sampling. We do not pass raw model output through to users without moderation.

3.1 Automated Screening (Real-time)

  • Input filtering: prompts are scanned in real time with keyword, semantic and intent analysis before generation. We use Waffo's Prompt Sift content-safety API as our primary prompt screening service, supplemented by a maintained and regularly updated blocklist covering NSFW terminology, child-safety (CSAM) terms, protected brands and characters, violence and hate speech, self-harm, and deepfake / public-figure terms.
  • Output filtering: generated images are automatically assessed for safety before being presented to users.
  • Usage pattern analysis: abnormal API call patterns are monitored to detect abuse.

3.2 Human Review

  • Content automatically flagged by the screening pipeline enters a human review queue.
  • Content reported by users is manually verified by our trust & safety team.
  • Reviewers complete content-safety training and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

3.3 Periodic Sampling & Audits

  • We conduct random sampling reviews of generated content on a monthly basis.
  • We regularly evaluate and tune the accuracy of our automated screening system.

3.4 Content Severity Levels

Level Description Moderation Action

L2 HighSevere violationsAutomatic flagging + priority reviewContent removal + account suspension

4. Reporting Mechanism

4.1 What You Can Report

  • Content or behavior that violates the content standards in this Policy
  • Severe violations involving child safety, terrorism, or similar
  • AI-generated content impersonating you or infringing your rights

4.2 Reporting Principles

  • Confidentiality: reporter identities are kept strictly confidential
  • Neutrality: all reports are reviewed independently and objectively
  • Anti-abuse: malicious or bad-faith reports are logged and may themselves lead to action

5. Reporting Channels

You can report violations through any of the following channels:

  • Dedicated report email: report@qrcodemaker.tech
  • Contact form page: /contact — our support & business contact page routes reports to the same trust & safety team
  • In-product: reply to any service email or include "REPORT" in the subject when writing to support

When reporting, please include: the QR code image, AI art image, or link in question; a description of the suspected violation; and the date and time you encountered it (optional but helpful).

6. Response & Handling Timelines

L2 HighWithin 24 hoursWithin 3 business days
L3 MediumWithin 3 business daysWithin 7 business days

We acknowledge every report within 24 hours. Confirmed CSAM-related reports are escalated to law enforcement immediately, without waiting for the timelines above. If handling takes longer than expected, we proactively notify the reporter and explain why.
